Japanese - Junior Marketing Communications Specialist

Reporting into the Content Team Lead for Japan, we're looking for a Junior Japanese Speaking Content Writer to join our Content Team and assist us in executing our Marketing Communications Strategies within the Commercial Division. The ideal candidate would be someone who has previous experience in a writing focused role or can demonstrate a passion for the written word.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Content Team Lead with the overall execution of the Marketing Communications Strategy for Japan, with the production, maintenance, and optimisation of Japanese written articles for both acquisition and retention purposes, for our Japanese casino and sportsbook brands.
• You'll be expected to work to briefs and deadlines, providing relevant SEO optimized content in Japanese for our player facing sites and any other areas deemed relevant to the execution of the strategies.
• Reproduce and optimize existing texts to meet specific briefs or requirements.
• Take existing or brand agnostic texts and conduct relevant translation, localisation or tone of voice application to copy for any of our relevant brands by adhering to various brand guidelines as well as SEO guideline
• Assist the Content Team Lead in the light coding, placement and optimisation of SEO and Promotional Content to our player facing sites and any other areas required.
• Proofreading, amending and editing your own work as well as those of your teammates, before publication.
• Be involved with all other operations of the Content Team, to be able to assist with promotional or campaign related content if need be.

Candidate Requirements and Desirables:

• Candidates must possess a native level of Japanese writing ability as well as a good level of English skills.
• You're a creative writer who understands the importance of localisation in ensuring that their writing has that native, home grown feel.
• Previous work experience as a Content Writer in the Japanese language, Copywriter or similar role is desirable. Alternatively, the ability to demonstrate a clear passion for the written word.
• Understands the importance of following structured and robust work processes and willing to work with the Content Team Lead and Senior Content Writers in order to ensure efficiency in content production.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in an ever changing and fast paced environment.

• Experience with Office365 is essential.
• Knowledge or exposure to the iGaming industry in Casino or Sportsbook would be beneficial.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SEO writing would be considered a plus.
