Job Purpose

As a German speaking Junior SDR you will be working closely with the Sales Managers whilst building and maintaining a pipeline of new business opportunities to approach and sell Ve’s technology and services across UK & DACH regions. Client and agency prospect activities via social media, telephone, during virtual or sometimes face-to-face meetings and at events. Your role will focus on driving growth from new business across direct engagement with potential clients.

Duties & Responsibilities
 

  • Contact the appropriate decision makers at the companies on your client prospect list via telephone, during face-to-face meetings and at events in order to introduce Ve’s technology and services.
  • Negotiate and close a specified number of sales prospects every month to gain contractual commitment for their use of Ve’s technology and services.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities to approach and sell Ve’s technology and services.
  • Take a leading role in uncovering new partnership opportunities with clients for Ve.
  • Actively supporting the efforts of your colleagues to propose our technology suite to client in order to increase Ve revenue.
  • Provide well-written and accurate proposals to your prospects to ensure that the greatest volume of new business is secured with a contract in the shortest possible timeframe.
  • Provide a follow up to your colleagues about the outcome of your sales calls to ensure new business can be set live in the shortest timeframe possible.
  • Maintain the company CRM and your sales pipeline, with timely and accurate details of your sales activities.
  • Develop a broad understanding of digital marketing technologies and topical developments from the digital marketing industry in order to provide your clients with informed and useful insights. E.g. new technology releases from the industry or from Ve.
  • Be well versed in new and established technologies that are complementary to or that compete with Ve in order to present a convincing business case for companies to purchase Ve’s services.

Experience And Qualifications
 

  • Excellent German language skills (minimum C1 level).
  • Some experience in sales, customer service, new business generation or digital industry.
  • Some knowledge of programmatic prospecting and the digital space.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Office 365, PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Business acumen in a professional and honest manner.
  • Other additional known language a plus.
  • Degree educated a plus

  • Self-motivated, eager to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Be able to demonstrate that you can establish and maintain a sales client base and good reputation among your peers.
  • Ability to open up a conversation with a cold/new prospect and establish a rapport that will enable you to quickly identify their business needs. You must then be able to close your sales efficiently.
  • Responsive attitude when meeting the demands of sales prospects, established clients and colleagues in equal measure. Your communication with all three will consistently be courteous, accurate and punctual.
  • Presentable, ready to meet with clients at very short notice. The nature of sales necessitates that you are persistent, resilient, tenacious and creative in varying measures to suit the situation at hand.
  • Self-motivated and organized with the ability to work independently or within a small team.
  • Confident and authoritative manner alongside strong written and verbal communication skills, which includes the ability to present to large and informed audiences.
  • Overcomer of prospect objections.
  • Trusted person that develops strong relationships with prospects.
  • Oriented to inspire our customers.
