This position provides a unique career opportunity to be a key member of the new SDR team for VMware in VMware's state-of-the-art EMEA Digital Sales Center in Barcelona. You will drive sales development activities that help grow the EUC (End-User Computing) business. You will work closely with the Digital Sales Center EUC team and the EUC Business Unit team to deliver sales development performance. Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?
- Deliver sales and sales development strategies, initiatives and activities to align with the overall EUC strategy and business requirements
- Follow up and qualify new prospects from demand generation activities
- Prospect, qualify and develop new prospects to appointments
What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
- Native level of Dutch with fluent English
- Prospecting, qualifying and developing new opportunities via sales plays and sales initiatives aligned with the overall EUC strategy and business requirements
- Engagement and enablement with target partners and driving demand generation with target channel partners in assigned territory
- Working collaboratively with the sales team on new opportunities

The manager for this position is Thomas Templier, SDR Manager Digital Workspace EMEA. Thomas has over 13 years of international sales and management experience in the technology sector and extensive knowledge of navigating the dynamics and culturally diverse EMEA market. Thomas has also been a coach and trainer in previous experiences and is using these skills every day in his management style: always looking to get the best of each of his team members and growing them every day.
Where is this role located?
Flexible: The role is considered flexible and will be a mix of working from a local VMware office and remote depending on your preferences and the arrangements determined with your future manager. You will be expected to live within a reasonable non-daily commute of the office.
