AWS is building an internal sales organization to implement these technologies for our customers. We accompany them on their way to the AWS Cloud and use cloud technology to help them achieve their business goals.
As an Account Executive at AWS, you are responsible for the entire sales cycle, creating new business opportunities and controlling the growing consumption of current and new AWS services. You use your sales and technical experience to work proactively with our customers. In this role, you act as a key account manager for Startup customers, sometimes in cooperation with our field staff. You work closely with the account teams to establish active contacts with customers and prospects, to maintain existing relationships and to consistently meet and exceed sales quotas. The role is based in Madrid.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience and passion for customer facing roles
- Experience in sales or business development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with English and Italian, Turkish or Arabic
- Experience working with the startup ecosystem
- Basic knowledge of cloud technologies
- Full lifecycle sales experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Technology related sales or business development experience
- AWS Certification (or equivalent)
- Experience working with Founders and/or senior business leaders
