Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Payroll Specialist to join our Honeywell Corporate team in Prague. 

Are you ready to help us make the future? 

You will oversee the payroll process in compliance with relevant laws and internal policies. You will prepare pay slips for employees and compile payroll information by managing payroll preparation, completing reports and maintaining records.

Payroll Specialist responsibilities:

  • Payroll process/ procedure/policies   
  • Calculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses etc. with assistance of a computer system
  • Prepare and execute pay orders through an electronic system or distribute pay checks
  • Administer statements of payment to employee either electronically or on paper
  • Process taxes and payment of employee benefits
  • Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information
  • Use systems to process payroll account transaction
  • Coordinate timekeeping and payroll systems
  • Int/ Ext Stakeholders/ Team communication & cooperation   
  • Collaborate with Human Resources Generalist, HR analysts, Finance and GMS team
  • Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits
  • Effective response to payroll queries
  • Provide Onboard and mentor team members as needed
  • Analyze report request by management, third parties or other stakeholders
  • Ensure payroll compliance with relevant laws and internal policies
  • Solve in time payroll escalation and answer complex payroll-related questions
  • Fulfill the daily activities (individuals or team activities), as well as the annual projects, according to the established performance level

Qualifications 

  •  Bachelor’s degree in HR/Economics/Finance
  •  Advanced level of English and French
  • Knowledge of French payroll procedures & related laws
