There are more than 2,000 employees in Human Resources, Finance and Procurement who work for Johnson & Johnson Global Services in key service centers located in Manila, Suzhou, Prague, Bogota and Tampa, as well as in local country-based hubs.
We are looking for a HR Business Solutions Specialist for the Belgium and Netherlands region. In this role, YOU will be responsible for following HR processes, policies and legislation. YOU will also be responsible for execution of various tasks in the HR area, especially employee data management in Workday and other HR systems connected to employee life cycle management.
YOU ensure a seamless experience for HR customers when using the GS HR services. Last but not least, YOU will be responsible for ensuring compliance to the defined processes when engaging with the various end users (employees, managers, other GS and BU departments, suppliers).
The responsibilities & the impact YOU will have:
- Receive, assign, update, classify, process cases in case management application for one or more processes
- Identify case challenges and opportunities, and escalate to the supervisor/manager if needed
- Focus on processing and resolution more complex cases
- Ensure integrity, completeness, timeliness, and accuracy of transactions & documentation
- Responsibility for delivering upon agreed SLAs
- Ensuring policy and legal compliance
- Assist and encourage users/customers to make effective use of self-service options, systems, products, service, etc. in order to drive rapid resolution and empower customers; educate and inform customers of the full range of Global Services HR available to them
- Provide support to implement improvement initiatives
- Implement low complexity improvements
- Strong focus on customer experience and satisfaction; regular check of the customer satisfaction feedback
- Perform special projects and related duties as assigned
- Participate on daily huddles and follow the instruction of the direct report regarding priorities and assignments
- Distribute the work to the other team members
- Check the quality of the work of the other team members
- Respond to requests / inquiries from customers and execute the key activities in accordance with defined procedures and guidelines.
- Communication and close cooperation with other HR teams.
- Coordinate activities with the other GS groups leading to close the cases
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Fluency in English and Dutch language (Written & Oral)
- 2+ years of related experience
- Ability to perform administrative activities.
- Demonstrated customer orientation and customer service skills
- Ability to accurately collect information in order to understand and assess the clients’ needs and situation
- Strong organization skills, attention to detail and follow through to resolve any outstanding issues
- Strong motivation to work on projects
- Sense of initiatives and ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; manages internal communications and external/client communications with detailed support and assistance in a concise and professional manner
- Discretion, professionalism, confidentiality, and judgment
- Technology Savvy
- Computer literate with knowledge of common office productivity software and the ability to learn customer service software applications (e.g., MS Office, email etc.)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, self-directed team-based environment
- Enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment
- Curiosity, the ability to learn from mistakes, be open minded and willing to learn from others and willing to share knowledge
