TASKS IN SCOPE

• The Compliance Specialist will support the independent and critical review of purchasing activities with a defined group of sensitive suppliers and ensure compliance before, while and after services have been rendered.
• The Compliance Specialist has to withstand any kind of fraudulent / bribery approaches and use their mandate to ensure compliance. 
• The Compliance Specialist will review selected 3rd Party Suppliers and conduct Due diligence check when needed. 
• Single point of contact Global Procurement Organization. 
• Work closely with the Office of Ethics and Compliance.
• Regular review and maintenance of global Transactional Compliance working instructions.
• Support for internal and external audits.
• Coordinate escalation process if needed.

EXPECTATIONS

• Purchasing background or compliance background (e.g. due diligence; internal audit) required.
• Knowledge of SAP internal procurement process of advantage. 
• Highest degree of integrity is the foundation for this role.
• Good presentation and communication skills.
• Proactive, problem solving approach and strong ownership attitude.
• Fluent in the English language. German language medium or advanced level.
