Portuguese Accounting Specialist – Senior Process Associate – Hybrid

Inviting applications for the role of Accounting Specialist – Senior Process Associate – Portuguese – Hybrid Bucharest! 

Responsibilities  

• Perform adjusting journal entries and accruals 

• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations

• Perform quality review of reconciliation of account data to GL

• Prepare regulatory reporting 

• Perform the reconciliation of the value of fixed assets, inventories, reporting

• Prepare draft income tax declarations and cooperate with the regional tax manager 

• Prepare transactional tax returns for the region, including VAT and withholding taxes 

• Comply with accounting standards, policies, and procedures 

• Supports the standardization (by implementation) of accounting processes to drive global standard 

Minimum qualifications  

•    Relevant experience in finance roles (GL, R2R or financial reporting) 

•    Degree in Finance or Accounting will be a plus 

•    Portuguese (C1 – level) and English (B2)

Encouraged qualifications  

• Know all R2R process, general ledger, financial statements and reporting, reconciliation, accruals, intercompany and tax accounting 

•  Have experience in local GAAP and IFRS
