Job Description

  • Incident management for IT manufacturing at Bosch Connected Industry;
  • Process incidents, problems, change requests, and customer demands via emails, tickets, outbound calls, and on-call duty;
  • React, classify, and respond to customer requests based on own knowledge and knowledge database entries;
  • Coordination and follow up of customer requests through the organization to achieve final resolutions and provide feedback to customers;
  • Work with Industrial Internet of Things (IoT) software solutions which enable digitalization of production and logistics in manufacturing plants.
  • Examples of use cases of our solutions include KPI tracking, production automation and execution, condition and process monitoring, intralogistics execution, etc.
  • Monitoring and prevention;
  • Active monitoring of customer systems to ensure high availability and compliance with SLAs;
  • System intervention and customer contact when issues arise;
  • Proactive analysis of systems to prevent critical manufacturing downtimes;
  • Enablement of first level support;
  • Provision and preparation of customer self-help and knowledge articles to enable first-level support teams to provide quick support to customers.

Qualifications

  • Language skills: English and German (fluent speaking and writing);
  • Previous technical support experience 1-2 years;
  • Willingness to work in a 24/7/365 shift mode;
  • Communicative person;
  • Problem-solving;
  • Solution oriented.
  • Will be a plus knowledge of:  Linux, Docker, GIT and/or Ansible.
