Working closely with our Business Development team as well as all operational teams, the International Markets team is involved in the entire development process – from identifying new markets to the scaling of existing markets. If you know one of our target markets by heart and have profound business knowledge achieved through first hand experience in an e-commerce business or consultancy, you are the perfect fit for the team.

As a Country Manager Romania (m/f/d) you will have an essential impact on our future development and pull the strings for our market growth in Romania.

Responsibilities

• Operational monitoring and quality assurance of our Romanian online shop(s)
• Evaluation of KPIs of our Romanian online shop(s)
• Performance of a variety of analyses related to the Romanian market
• Acceleration of growth along all dimensions: E.g. assortment, pricing or user experience across devices
• Strong collaboration with different teams such as online marketing, logistics and shop development
• Involvement in various company projects, e.g. acquiring new local partners/brands or implementing new payment processes
• Preparation, implementation and monitoring of new strategic and operational initiatives in our Romanian online shop

Requirements

• Very good university degree in business management or comparable degree
• Experience in an e-commerce company (or similar), ideally in a business development role
• Profound knowledge of the Romanian culture and retail landscape
• Proficient with MS Office (especially Excel)
• Native speaker competence in Romanian (oral & written)
• Fluency in English and German (oral & written)
• Distinct understanding of numbers and analytical way of working
• Strong communicational skills
• Entrepreneurial spirit and sense of responsibility
