About the Talent Acquisition area

Our mission starts with Talent Acquisition, a team that aims to attract the right talent and ensure candidates have an amazing experience while getting to know SumUp.
Our Talent Acquisition team is currently made up of people from 12 different countries, and we’re growing and diversifying each month. We’re split across 4 main locations - Berlin, São Paulo, Sofia and Chile and we are key supporters of SumUp’s ongoing agile transformation, helping stakeholders approach their hiring needs in an agile manner. As the first Talent Acquisition professional supporting our Danish team, you will play a key role in scaling our Merchant Growth tribe.
What you’ll do
- Partner with hiring managers and other key stakeholders to help them evaluate and structure hiring needs for roles of varying seniority (from mid-level up to Head) across multiple business areas in the Merchant Growth tribe (with a focus on tech roles)
- Drive every stage of the talent acquisition process and make accountable hiring decisions
- Play a key role in ensuring that SumUp grows and scales in a strategic, sustainable manner
- Add value to our recruiting processes by leveraging current trends in active sourcing and recruiting while driving improvements that impact local pipeline areas
- Manage projects to ensure continuous optimisation and development of the team and our processes
- Determine strategies to ensure diverse teams and an inclusive workplace culture
You’ll be great for this role if
- You speak Fluent Danish and English.
- You have 5+ years of in-house corporate and/or search firm end-to-end recruiting experience, being exposed to high complexity roles and different areas.
- You bring experience hiring for the Danish market and have a deep understanding of how to engage local talents.
- Candidates love you and hiring managers consider you their recruitment counselor.
- You’re knowledgeable about sourcing techniques like LinkedIn Recruiter, networking events and Boolean searches.
- You’re results-oriented, easy-going, entrepreneurial and passionate about recruiting.
- You are a team player and can adapt to constant change.
