Responsibilities

Within our Domestic Deliveries Unit, we are responsible for the handling of national and international shipments of packed and bulk goods. We deliver the products in compliance with the requested delivery date and at optimal cost conditions.

• You will plan, coordinate, and execute material movements among BASF plants and to/from the toller, including PO creation and the necessary SAP bookings.
• In addition, you will work closely with the planning team in order to manage on time material flow among all relevant parties.
• You will also ensure close coordination of TC management process (including assignment of carrier/selection of TC, storage and return of empty containers etc) among site logistics, toller, carrier and planning teams.
• Furthermore, you will manage deliveries/TM process and stock transfers in SAP in line with physical goods movement process and KPI´s.
• You manage NCM processes related with transport management.
• You will be responsible for the cost control in case of additional costs incurred and entering these into SAP along with the preparation of the corresponding transport conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• university degree or a vocational training in a relevant field
• 2-3 years of relevant job experience required i.e. Transport Management or Logistics experience for bulk goods
• experienced handling of SAP
• fluent in German and ideally good English skills
• effective communication skills as this role will engage people across the business and at 3rd party vendors & customers in order to execute the required material movements
• strong organization and analytical skill
