Asset Management Accounting Expert with French or Russian language

 

Your tasks and Responsabilities:

  • Responsible for the timely and qualitative execution of Accounting operations for Asset Management (AM) according to the defined activity split
  • Be and act as the senior expert, leading some functional areas within the team and providing guidance to other colleagues
  • Steer, actively participate and contribute at and to Asset Management communities through global calls and other media
  • Interact with key business functions (e.g. Controlling, Procurement, Product Supply, Legal, Financial Accounting etc.) to ensure proper accounting for the particular areas of operation
  • Ensures operational effectiveness of the internal control system relevant to the preparation and presentation of the Financial Statements
  • Contribute to global as well local projects, legal entities and system mergers, acquisitions or divestitures.
  • Support optimization projects and continuous improvement initiatives in order to improve quality and efficiency
  • Conduct training activities
  • Delegate financial responsibilities to accounting team
  • Coordinating accounting projects and initiatives with other departments
  • Identify training needs within the team

Who You Are:

  • Knowledge of IFRS standards
  • Basic knowledge of the principles of consolidating financial reports
  • Knowledge of the "Intercompany" transaction
  • Knowledge of SAP, especially the AA module – as beneficial
  • Very good knowledge of the life cycle of a fixed asset, the investment process, principles of activating fixed assets, transfers, sale of fixed assets, etc.
  • Ability to prepare and conduct training
  • English min B2,
  • One more of the following languages (minimum B2) would be beneficial: German or Russian, or French
  • Experience in cooperation with auditors
  • Experience (min 4 years) in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Controlling or relevant experience & demonstrated understanding of external reporting / auditing
  • Demonstrated ability to work through ambiguity and usage of sound judgment in making decisions
  • Good understanding of Accounting Principles
  • Motivation, communication, team work and ability to operate in a highly intercultural environment
