The Management Information Systems (IS) is fully involved in bioMérieux’s digital transformation strategy worldwide. Our IS teams are in charge of key projects such as the global deployment of our Salesforce CRM solution, SAP and IoT (Internet of Things). They also lead “proofs of concept” related to innovative services with high added value for bioMérieux’s activities. They partner with specialized stakeholders on reference technologies (SAP HANA, Salesforce.com, Amazon Web Services, SAP Cloud Platform or Microsoft Office 365) to contribute to the constant improvement of bioMérieux’s services.

ETHICS & COMPLIANCE ANALYST (F/M)


 

What will your responsibilities be within bioMérieux?

  • Team member of the Global Ethics & Compliance department who acts as first point of contact to manage and resolve compliance concerns within scope of responsibility. Engage with stakeholders to support the development and implementation of processes to streamline compliance controls into business processes, acting as a gatekeeper on high risk activities.
  • Support the creation and implementation of global processes and tools pertaining to red flags management, working closely with Finance.
  • In line with processes, provide feedback and validation/rejection on proposed business activities, ensuring that compliance concerns are appropriately identified and managed. This may require interacting with external parties.
  • With support of management, identify, interpret, and integrate regulatory changes into processes, working cross-functionally with other departments.
  • Identify stakeholders impacted by regulatory changes and develop and train them.
  • Maintain documentation related to compliance decisions and processes.
  • When unresolved, escalate high risk activities through management for resolution/decision.
  • Support the investigation of concerns, when requested by management.


 

Who are you?

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master degree - Relevant studies in legal, business, finance, or other related function.
  • At least 4 years of relevant work experience in legal, audit, risk, or compliance, with a strong preference towards experience in compliance within the medical device, biotech, or healthcare industry
  • Basic understanding of corporate accounting.
  • Strong reputation for integrity, ethics, personal values and solid character.
  • Able to analyze regulations and develop and implement policies to ensure compliance.
  • Ability to balance many subjects at once and prioritize effectively based on risk.
  • Demonstrated proactive and motivated by results, with little need for oversight.
  • Collaborative team-oriented approach to work, supporting the successes of others.
  • High emotional intelligence and engagement skills, with the confidence to interact at all levels within scope.
  • Strong cross-cultural communication skills with the ability to effectively convey the company’s core ethical values at all levels of the company.
  • Knowledge of regulations related to compliance topics within scope, including international anti-bribery regulations.
  • Can communicate with internal stakeholders verbally and in writing and comfortable in using software / IS applications.
  • Fluent in English required (Intermediate or above in French preferred will be a plus).
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of time – after pandemic time
