The European Localisation Quality team is responsible for designing, implementing and executing both automated and manual test plans in an effort to assure the quality of Apple’s localized products. As a QA Engineer you will play a central role in ensuring the best SW experience for our international customers. You’ll also collaborate with international software engineering teams, and translators to ensure that Apple delivers world-class software products to our international markets.

Description

• You will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality software experience across Apple's product line
• Perform manual and automated testing on localisation and international functionality of software, hardware, and documentation
• Report issues via internal tools and by providing pertinent and detailed information and recommendations
• Call out key quality issues to help drive issue resolution
• Identify areas of improvement in existing tools and processes, and address opportunities with innovative solutions
• Work cross-functional with international software QA teams, software engineering teams, and translators to ensure delivery of world-class products to Apple’s international users

Key Qualifications

• Fluency in Greek, Finnish, Polish, Hebrew, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Arabic, German, Dutch, French or Canadian French
• Full working proficiency in both written and spoken English.
• Power user of Apple products (hardware and software).
• Solid knowledge of release, test cycles and tools related to localisation and QA testing.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexible, pro-active and team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to independently learn new technologies.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.

Education & Experience

• BS/MS in Computer Engineering/Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
