We are currently looking for an enthusiastic German, French, Italian, Swedish, Danish or Dutch speaker looking to join a friendly, collaborative team of Collections Specialists. While prior experience in Collections, Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable would be benficial, we are also open to applicants with a background in customer service or other customer focused areas.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the cash collection and account reconciliation of a selection of debtors, contacting customers as directed by automated workflow
- Responsible for resolution of unallocated cash & credit requiring account reconciliation and/or customer contact
- To work closely and provide support to our centralised functions in both Barcelona and India. (i.e. cash apps; credit; disputes)
- Provides clean handover for liquidation and bad debt cases once collection activities are exhausted
- Attend reviews and prepare feedback for your line manager on your customer portfolio
- Comply with Service Levels (SLA’s) & manage own performance to improve/stabilise KPI’s
- Compliance with the current process design and specifications, process excellence and data quality principles
- Understand what service must be provided to customers and delivers this flawlessly
- Follow through on customer enquiries, requests or complaints – making sure that the customer has received a response even if not responding in person
- Keep all promises they make, always delivering to agreed deadlines
- Hand over work that is complete, accurate and of high quality, to ensure that no re-work or questioning is required, minimising disruptions in our ability to deliver
- Model honesty, openness, integrity and ethical behaviour
- Be punctual and prepared for meetings, contributing opinions, ideas and questions to improve the outcome of the meeting
Required skills and experience
- Able to demonstrate experience of Cash Collection or suitable equivalent customer service (preferred)
- Computer literate with knowledge of ERPs like Oracle, SAP or similar
- Possess good understanding of Microsoft office suite (i.e. Excel, Word, etc)
- Results & Customer focused
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Fluency in German, French, Italian, Swedish, Danish or Dutch and English
