Legal Expert with Spanish 

Responsibilities:

• Provide advice on general, recurring questions in the area of Compliance (e.g. Anti-Corruption, Anti-Trust, Conflict of interest), including advice on the correct interpretation of LPC related Bayer policies and support Third Party Due Diligence checks and approvals
• Provide advice and contribute to approval workflows in the area of Code Compliance, advise on and handle approval workflows for donations and sponsorships
• Provide advice on general, recurring legal questions
• Handle the Integrated Compliance Management and support the Effectiveness Monitoring for certain compliance risk areas
• Provide Data Privacy consultancy and perform all elements of the global Data Privacy Management System (DPMS) for operational handling, manage Data Privacy Incidents
• Support and monitor the roll out and participation in LPC driven web based trainings, support LPC driven communication campaigns and advise business and platform functions on organization and responsibilities within LPC
• Follow up on the development of legislation and standards of legal/compliance work in the LPCX Region for the assigned area of work and ensure application in daily work and implementation into processes and tools, as necessary  
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor

Education:

• Academic degree (Bachelor, Master) in Law, Compliance, Business Administration, IT, Information Security, or controlling / audit or related discipline
• English language on native speaking or comparable level; minimum C1 Spanish

Skill/experiences:

• A minimum of 3-5 years professional experience after graduation
• Work experience in the area of legal, compliance or data privacy work from an international law firm or a multinational company desirable
• Advanced communication and training skills, also vis-à-vis non-lawyers
• Goal-oriented, hands-on, proactive team player,
• Experienced in working with foreign cultures, ideally proven by time spent abroad, and with cross-functional teams
• Good knowledge of Compliance Management Systems
• Advanced knowledge on anti-corruption, anti-trust, data privacy or laws relevant to the health care or crop science industry desirable
• Process and IT affinity
• Advanced project management skills
• Good knowledge of MS Office and knowledge in handling of management tools
