Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

  • Handles general incoming information calls and emails from the law enforcement community, ensuring all incoming calls and emails are responded to or referred promptly
  • Identifies needed escalations and deadlines, alerting Supervisor and/or relevant team members where required for further handling as per department policies
  • Primary management of team inbox(es) for incoming law enforcement requests from various national and international law enforcement agencies
  • Communicates with requesting law enforcement officers to clarify received request or scope as needed and provide responses based on department policy and guidelines
  • Reviews all requests as per the above before logging each one into the internal database ensuring a complete matching case file containing all relevant documentation for further request processing
  • Other responsibilities such as projects as assigned by Supervisor

Skills

  • This role would suit someone with a junior analytical background with strong administrative skills who is looking to develop a career within fraud or law enforcement environment
  • Demonstrated level of administrative skills, with close attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills demonstrated through good time management, record keeping and follow-up
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a deadline driven culture
  • Ability to self-motivate
  • Experience working with highly confidential information
  • Ability to identify when escalation is necessary and determine appropriate policy
  • Proven ability to adapt positively and drive changes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Outlook, Excel.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Experience communicating effectively with a culturally diverse client group
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks/projects
  • Ability to compile and analyze data in a succinct manner
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative with vague or obscure information
  • An interest in law enforcement/investigatory work
  • Knowledge and/or experience in a fraud or law enforcement environment (preferable)
  • Bilingual (required). English plus Polish, German, French or Italian
