We are looking for a Sales development representative. The Sales Developer will work with our Regional Sales team to manage and close high-velocity inbound sales opportunities from current clients. This individual will be part of a team of both Outside Sales and Inside Sales Representative on a Regional basis and support the various Sales representatives in an overlay capacity. This position is a highly visible role where you will be interacting with both Large Enterprise accounts and Medium and Small businesses. You will report directly to the Regional Sales Leader.
Responsibilities
- Manage and close high-velocity inbound opportunities from current accounts
- Support Account Managers and the sales team in the Region to manage and close both new opportunities and customer add-ons
- Be highly responsive to prospects and customers, providing them with the information they need throughout the sales process
- Own and manage the sales cycle for assigned accounts, leveraging a value-based selling approach
- Collaborate effectively with Account Managers within assigned accounts to ensure seamless communications and transitions for the customer
- Maintain accurate and complete account data in Salesforce
- Provide accurate and timely opportunity updates and bookings forecasts
- Co-own sales achievement goals against a specified territory and team quota
- Maintain awareness of market conditions and competitors' products and pricing and keep up to date on knowledge of the company
- Reports to the Regional Sales Leader
- Work with Reps to complete Health Checks, Quarterly Business Reviews and increase customer engagement with our Strategic Customers
Qualifications
- University degree, or relevant work experience
- 3+ years successful track record as Business Developer, inside sales rep or Account Executive (technology, software, B2B, etc.)
- Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience working with complex enterprise transactions is a plus
- Ability to communicate complex technology and value propositions
- Independent, yet a team player
- Motivation to expand personal and professional knowledge of product and sales skills
- Polished professionalism with above average organizational, planning, communication, and problem solving skills
- Strong presentation and critical thinking skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent sales cycles at high velocity
- Create and nurture strong collaborative relationships with field sales team members
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Security, SaaS or Cloud sales experience
- Experience with Salesforce strongly preferred
