The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced and highly motivated, Spanish speaking, Logistics & Supply Chain professional to join the Global Logistics Operations team at our Dublin HQ.
You will manage allocated supply chains from end to end, engaging with Carrier & Hub operations to ensure on time fulfillment and last mile delivery is executed to the target SLA's.
You will build and develop controls and processes to ensure consistent performance is achieved, peak programs delivered and deliver strong performance reporting and corrective action plans where needed.
You will drive excellence in the shopper experience by using best in class technologies and drive innovation by maximizing the technology available to delivery impacting changes for the shopper
Key Responsibilities
- Accountability for the service performance levels for a given Retailer(s)/Brand(s) of all Hub and lane activities.
- Utilize new tools and technologies in the daily operation to manage the package life cycle and on time performance for designated lanes
- Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of KPI reports/MBR reports.
- Work with Lead Lane Manager to create and maintain accurate SOP's for all activities in their designated lanes.
- Manage all escalation issues in a way that ensures clients are fully briefed, brings solutions to problems.
- Co-ordinate manage and report daily reconciliations, delays and material discrepancies.
- Manage under-performing suppliers, create action plans and execute plan to improve performance.
- Work on cross functional projects with other members of the logistics and other teams to continually review the service to clients (retailers and customers).
- Demonstrate strong customer relation skills and positive company image during all interactions with the customers and service providers.
- Ensure all activities are managed in a timely fashion and undertake additional administrative tasks to support this function.
- Dealing with Spanish speaking retailers / suppliers to drive the daily operations.
Key Requirements
- 3+ years' experience in a similar role within global parcel freight
- Excellent communication skills, Fluent Spanish and English
- Demonstrable experience in supply chain solution design & operational on boarding
- Experience in Airfreight and final mile solutioning an advantage.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced eCommerce or parcel freight business is desirable
- Strong MS Office skills (especially Excel for data analysis, KPI's, visuals, charts)
- Working knowledge of Supply Chain Management
- Strong analytical skills with a solution focused attitude
- Strong influencing skill with the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
- Experience with partnering with clients closely and managing the relationship through regular reporting, KPI's and improvement plans.
