You are our junior legal support in legal and regulatory matters related to our retail business. You are part of the Retail Legal and Contracts team and well connected with the Compliance department.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out legal reviews of due diligence documents from franchise partners and necessary shop documents (such as building permits, rental agreements, etc.) in accordance with legal regulations and internal processes (onboarding and offboarding)
• Drafting and coordination of warnings and standard terminations of franchise partner contracts
• Coordinate deadlines for various franchisee matters
• Supporting and coordinating legal responses to customer and/or franchise partner complaints
• You communicate with authorities in Germany and Austria regarding information requests
• You will work closely with the legal and compliance departments, the retail service team in Germany and Austria as well as with the technical retail teams at other Tipico locations
• You answer ad hoc inquiries from franchisees and/or other departments at Tipico.

What do you bring to the field:

• Qualification. You have a commercial or legal degree.
• expertise. You have at least one year of experience in a law firm, legal department, franchise company or similar field.
• Strong communication skills. You always communicate in a friendly, secure and efficient manner with your teammates and with internal and external stakeholders, both in writing and orally. You also have excellent organizational skills.
• Self-employed. In addition, you are characterized by an independent working style, a proactive way of working, strong problem-solving skills and a high degree of precision and accuracy.
• Fluent German and English skills. As the #1 sports betting provider in the German-speaking market, native German language skills, both spoken and written, are a prerequisite for the position. Our team consists of more than 30 different nationalities working together to achieve Tipico's mission, therefore fluency in English is also required.
