Job Description

KYC & Payments Processing Analyst

Reporting to the Risk, Fraud & Payments Team Leader, the jobholder will play a key part in the KYC process. The jobholder will make sure that all customer documents are processed, validated and verified correctly and timely whilst proactively anticipating issues to minimize fraud risk and upholding outstanding levels of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing checks on customers and requesting the relevant KYC documents in compliance with any regulatory governing bodies and based on determined customer risk level
  • Process relevant KYC documents in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Careful monitoring of possible money laundering transactions and communication of suspicions to the relevant stakeholders
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with relevant internal and external stakeholders to obtain KYC documents
  • Suggest improvements to the Tools and procedures
  • Professional handling of all related customer queries
  • Undertake necessary administration work, including dealing with customer correspondence and record keeping/case management
  • Knowledge of customer verification process for different regulations including the verifying player's documents
  • Process high volumes of payments transactions in an accurate and efficient manner
  • Comply with the company's compliance processes and procedures with particular focus on AML & RG
  • Escalate any suspicious case to the relevant specialized team
  • Ensure that no fraudulent activity was carried out, prior to processing payments transactions
  • Review customer activity and report to the Manager, as required
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Risk, Fraud & Payments Management

Skills & Experience Required

  • Fluency in Spanish & English both written and spoken
  • Ability to work closely with other departments across geographical boundaries.
  • Liaise with Customer Services on a daily basis, to resolve customer queries
  • Ability to work hours to suit the business needs – typically shifts including weekends.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Meticulous, takes initiative and possesses good analytical skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines on a day-to-day basis
  • Ability to work well with others and be a team-player
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
